it's shell-less structure uses only 1 drum head which uses batter ,
and snare side as one, and can also combine tension on both sides of the head.
Via the tension hoop ( top ), and small Spider ring ( bottom )
With results of a more sensitive snare drum, Duel tensioning on batter head allows use of half the mill thickness-
" more sensitive drum head".of conventional shelled drums.You can also change a drum head without a drum key.
