 Question; why the need for tube cutting?   the  purpose is reducing upper tubing Lengths of roto tom stands upper tubing.Example a stand for a 6,8,&10'' set 's stand tubing can be slightly shorten to a compromising length,to enable use to heights of a snare drum when playing with a drum set,with the use of a low base height stand.and its concert height stand,also reach heights as normaly used (mounted tom heights ).Sorry, but industry has not cought up to our Product

 For use at standard snare drum heights.

We cut upper tubing only,

And Suggest using a select affordable snare stand base as an easy solution to Use your  RapidPitch Roto Snare.This allows use & rotation, as concert or snare height for drum set use.

 These stand bases also have a memory lock collar, this is a plus to reduce tube sliping when

 rotating Drums.
